How are the free courses different from the accredited courses?

These free courses are based on accredited master's level courses at DTS but do not meet accreditation requirements.

DTS's free courses are based on our accredited master's level courses taught on campus but do not meet accreditation requirements. The free courses are meant for personal study and enrichment.

In the free courses, you will still receive the same teaching filmed from existing courses, but you won't be required to complete any of the course readings or assignments. Instead, the free courses include accessible quizzes and discussion questions to help students get the most out of the free versions.

Also, most of the free courses represent only a small part of their comparable accredited course. The content of the free courses have been adjusted and rearranged to serve a wider audience.

If you're looking to start a degree program at DTS, taking the full master's level courses, you can start an application for admission here: https://www.dts.edu/admissions/seminary-is-for-you/
